With an expert team in digital marketing, Derek Diffley slowly made his way to discover an opportunity that could change the promotional products industry. He realized there could be a large role for wood products in this industry and slowly began taking it over by storm. “By creating our cutting board models with our own graphic designer and reserving all the domains necessary, we slowly worked our way up the Google ranking.” He says proudly.

Before stepping foot into the promotional products industry, sales were low. Since, our hardwood supplying company has accomplished unbelievable growth. Through social media, email marketing and Google AdWords, we were able to spread the news about our high-quality products and inform our clients on the deals, savings and earnings they could profit from.

“While having expertise in digital marketing is a giant advantage, it’s nice having people in this industry guide us and give a helping hand. At one of our first trade shows, the guy at the booth next to us introduced me to a customer who bought 2000 units.” Admits Derek Diffley, thankful for any help Wholesale Cutting Boards has received.

Although digital marketing has played a giant role in their success, Derek Diffley mentions that “we have a high-quality product that is in high demand. We have products people love and use, including hardwood phone stands, trays and barbecue wood scrapers. We’re basically your one-stop wood shop!”

With manufacturers scattered throughout North America and a new warehouse soon to open in Houston, the geographical diversity of Wholesale Cutting Boards allows for superior pricing flexibility and quicker turnaround times. If a shortage of lumber strikes in one area, the company has various manufacturers to obtain what the need elsewhere.

By investing in their inventory, Derek Diffley has ensured that they can get their orders shipped quickly since most customers won’t wait more than four weeks for production. “When ordering anything under 200 units, we can get it engraved and out the door within two business days.”

With the expected positive sales leading us into 2019, Wholesale Cutting Boards will continue to adapt to consumer needs and our capability of being flexible.
