Quite often, customers are asking what the rates for private label services are. Actually, there is no fixed rate for those. It can be compared to as if someone would call a home contractor to ask how much it costs to build a house. Let’s have a look below at a few tips to help you get answers to your questions.
All our boards are sold with a smooth sanded finish. That way, you can customize them with your personal touch. However, if you’re too busy to do some simple step, and that you would like us to take care of it; like, for example, drilling a hole in a corner and thread a leather strap through it, or applying mineral oil; we can do it for you for a small fee.
You have your own line of products, and would like to have you name and logo on a wood cutting board? Laser-engraving is the solution. We need to be sent a .pdf file, or high res .jpg, or .ai file to do so. Just let us know where on the board you would like to see it and how big.
When ordering wholesale cutting boards, they are shipped either in boxes or on a pallet; but we can wrap them individually if it is more convenient for you. In that case, please specify in your request if you’re interested in shrink wrapping, if you want the boards put in corrugated cardboard boxes or fancy gift boxes or in poly bags. Will you provide us with the boxes or bags with your logo on them or do you want us to order them for you? Please note that if you provide us the kind of wrapping for each board, handling fees will apply. If we outsource boxes or bags for you, pricing will go according to what you choose.
As for bar coding, will you provide us stickers? Or do you want us to have some printed for you? Do you want a bar code for each board that will be packaged in a bigger box containing a given number of units, which will also be bar coded? Once again, we will work with the information and material you provide us, and pricing will vary accordingly.
This being said, it is easy to understand why we can’t give an answer when we are being asked: “How much does private label services cost?”. Prices will vary depending on how many cutting boards you order, which services you’re interested in and how much involvement from us will be required.
